(3 Pk) - Canine Naughty Citizen Rosettes
You asked for them, so we're making them!
Our just-for-fun "Canine Naughty Citizen" rosettes let you celebrate your favorite dog's advancement through OMG, NO, and WHY levels of mischief. All proceeds from the sale of this three-rosette set will benefit the AKC Humane Fund’s Veterinary Care Assistance Grant, helping to make essential and critical veterinary care more accessible to dog owners in need.
This is a limited-edition set and only available on pre-order through May 30, so grab yours while you can. Be sure to tag us on social media with #akcnaughtycitizen when your dog earns their rosettes IRL!
And in case you missed it, here's our April Fools' announcement that inspired your requests for the creation of these rosettes:
"The American Kennel Club (AKC®), a not-for-profit organization and leading advocate for dogs, is pleased to announce three new titles that are available to dogs across the nation.Â
While the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program was launched in 2008 to get puppies and their owners off to a great start, these three new titles recognize the puppies, dogs and owners who are maybe not quite ready to advance on to become a Canine Good Citizen just yet.
These three new titles — OMG, NO, and WHY -- recognize puppies and dogs who are excelling at everything from peeing on the antique rug to leaving the bone they dug up from the yard right on your pillow. These titles require that owners attend any basic training class with their furry little chaos agent, who then demonstrates that they can promptly forget everything they just learned the moment they see a SQUIRREL. And, you can show off combinations of other favorite owner and puppy behaviors and good manners skills to advance in naughtiness from novice ("OMG"), to intermediate ("NO"), right on up to master ("WHY").
Dogs can earn these new titles at any age. To apply for your dog's new title, it's easy! Just share a photo or video of your dog's entry, and we'll rate your dog's particular set of skills based on level of difficulty and/or mischief. Use #akcnaughtycitizen to show off your progress.
And, if you've gotten this far, please remember that we believe that all dogs can be good dogs, and that dog sports are meant to be FUN! April Fools'!"
